Our Approach to Kambo

Led by a seasoned team of facilitators and healers, our Kambo retreats honor the ancient indigenous practices of the Matses while integrating modern therapeutic insight. Kambo, the secretion of the Phyllomedusa bicolor frog, is a potent natural medicine known for its immune-boosting, antibacterial, anti-fungal, and detoxifying properties. Applied through the lymphatic system via small superficial burns, it triggers a deep physical and energetic cleanse.

Beyond the physical purge, many participants experience mental clarity, emotional balance, and a renewed sense of purpose. This medicine is powerful and not suitable for everyone—we conduct thorough health screenings to ensure safety, especially for individuals with heart conditions, high blood pressure, or other contraindications.

The Kambo Experience

Over the course of 7 to 8 days, you will participate in three carefully guided Kambo ceremonies. Each session is held with intention and care, creating a secure space for release, insight, and personal growth. While the jungle may challenge your comfort, it also awakens your resilience.
